National Flowers

The tradition of having to own National flower is not just applied by the ASEAN member states but also other countries. Nation chose their flowers according to some important criterias. It may be rooted from the historical background of the country or from the cultural and religious beliefs.

Some countries may have one national flower, however, other countries like Indonesia and Vietnam have more than one national flowers.

It is important to point out that not all national flowers are officially adopted as the nation's national flower.

The chosen national flower or flowers is/are then used to represent the country.
